Places to fish in January
Submitted by metrolandbased on Mon, 2013-04-22 18:11
My uncle is coming to Perth next January and I want to take him on a fishing trip somewhere so I was wondering where the best places would be to go. Preferably south somewhere as he feels the heat being from England. :) WE do not have a boat so we will be fully landbased. I want to take him shark fishing and hopefully get him on to a shark but he also enjoys river and esturine fishing. So with all that in mind, where would be the best place to go!?

Head down south to walpole.
Head down south to walpole. The nornalup inlet has some pretty awsome fishing and then you can 4wd out to some spectacular beachs for fishing and diving.

Another vote for Walpole.
Another vote for Walpole. Some great fishing down there all year round. Peaceful Bay, a short drive to the east is another good spot with plenty of beach options.
Just because I smile & nod does not mean I believe the crap coming out of your mouth.

We will definately be doing
We will definately be doing that but as my uncle is coming all the way from England we thought we would show him a bit more of WA and take him on a fishing holiday, it is also an excuse for me to go somewhere for a week. :)
