Looking to buy a hookah setup
im in the makret to buy a hookah dive setup, powered by a honda engine. after diving on one the other week for some crays up north here where i live, i was amazed at how much more access we had to the crays. we freedive for them at every chance we get but unfortunately for us the water we dive in is stirred up very easily and more often then not is like diving in pea soup. with the hookah we could dive in dirty water as the bottom still had 2m+ vis. plus the girls also enjoyed jumping in for a look. and for the price i have been quoted from the states it seems like theright time to buy one.
i have found a mob in the states that sell compressors, dive hose, regs and weightbelts as a package. www.octopumps.com
does anyone either have a hookah or know of anywhere that i can buy a hookah from
thank

There are a lot of ways to
There are a lot of ways to save money building hookahs that can be either fatal or injurious to the operator but of no consequence to the seller.
Octopumps are in the USA, so no real surprise they are cheaper in any case.

Interesting on the powerdive
Interesting on the powerdive site they only list "resort introductory diving" as the only rec diving activity listed under their about us. The cheapers ones like on the main page are low powered floating units that would get you a coupla meters deep at max though. Seems they have bigger, deeper ones too though. The max depth (particularly for two divers) can vary a bit. Prob a good idea to get a pony bottle if you're going deep enough (20m or more?)
Would be worth talking to the guys at Hookah at least to see if its right for you and to get the info. Better off having the right system at a few more dollars than an unknown, potentially lethal system for a few less if you dont know exactly what you're doing.
