Hi,
have been informed Mr. Jack Erskine has passed away 
Those that know jack will know of his humility and absolute willingness to assist fellow fisher people
Those that have not had the pleasure may have seen his name on selected quality fishing reels etc
RIP Jack 
I'm all the better for your experiences

He was setting up a new performance baitcaster reel for me with 'carbontex drag washer' system, just so I can stop the big Barra
Talked with him on the 18th June, just before he went to usa, am now advised his son will be doing the 'reel' work for me

well how do you say your totally *issed off with his son, with-out denitgrating his fathers very good name
Daniel (son) has told me he will not honour his fathers WRITTEN wishes, even though he has read his fathers emails to me stating exactly what his father was organising for me.
He (son) sends me the reel that Jack setup with the new carbonex washers etc, to use till the upgraded Quantum baitcaster is available ... but it was addressed with the wrong address, and Aussi Post obviously can't deliver it because the address does not exist, got the street right, but put wrong number on address, so that one is 'missing' and it is the one I want, even though it is worth next to nothing as far as $$ is concerned, but the 'sentimental' value is unreplacable.
I bought the Quantum Tour Edition this week.
( have to admit up front we had a family connection with Jack )
can't see a big future for the business now with the attitude I have been put through

Jack was a legend i use to go
Jack was a legend i use to go in to his shop on Mulgrave rd in Cairns where i learnt the basics for game fishing genuine guy and what he didn't know wasn't worth worrying about.
