awesome place
I've caught heaps of herring from the shore/rocks there. Bronze whaler sharks at night. If you have a boat try the islands. Should be some boat spot info in the search function of this site.
Fishin for a feed and fun.

Make your way over to the back beach where you can fish off the rocks or shore and expect any of the usual suspects - skippy, herring, flathead, whiting, tarwine, maybe a straggler salmon or two. Gear up for it and a shark is almost certain!

I was down there towards the end of the salmon run last year and off the rocks to the right as you leave the caravan park road we caught small striped tuna and a good sized shark mackerel, plus a couple of straggler salmon that were still around.
All my fish were caught spinning metal slices and stickbaits.
Great fun good luck
