Gday fisho's - I hear the demersal fishing is pretty good out of two rocks. Sunday looking flat so I thought i would give it a go. Problem is ive never been out from there so any tips or advice would be great. I know nobody will give their favourite spots away maybe just point me in the right direction and what depths should i be looking for Ive got a 19 foot voyager and I go out 50 kms regularly to the FADs so no problem to go out wide. If anybody is going out maybe I can follow along if thats OK
Cheers Dave

Start at 10 mile out,
Start at 10 mile out, progress further if not much happening..
Look for cray pots, theyre on good ground 99% of the time, just make sure you tie something to the float if you bust off on one so the decky knows somethings up with the pot and to winch it up slowly.
Goodluck

Must be good out there, mate
Must be good out there, mate got two sized dhus one morn driftin for whiting just out of the marina in shallow water. Needless to say, the hook was pretty straight after that
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

I'm heading out from there on sunday too.
Heading out there in the morning with a mate, never been there myself too, I'll keep an eye out for a 19 foot voyager!
If you see a bright orange stejcraft with 2 blokes on it, you'll know it's us. Send me a pm if you want to follow along. Otherwise, best of luck!
Cheers
Matt
